Affects Your Health
If the gray skies of November have you singing the blues, professional feng shui consultant and author, Terri Perrin, Fine Art of Intention Feng Shui, says that it might be time for you to change your clothes … and grab a paint brush! The colour of your clothing, as well as the colours in your home, can make a significant impact on how you feel.
Perrin, will be a guest speaker and exhibitor at the Cowichan Wellness Expo, which is being held November 26 and 27, 2011, at the Oceanfront Suites in Cowichan Bay. This two-day event is free to attend and features over 30 exhibitors boasting a wide range of alternative health and wellness booths. Perrin’s ‘Feng Shui for Better Health’ presentation will be on Sunday, November 27 at 1 p.m. She will also be at her booth throughout the event to answer your feng shui questions and autograph her book, The Complete Guide to Feng Shui Crystals.
Perrin’s interactive and inspiring 45-minute presentation will provide a basic introduction to the practice of feng shui – the ancient ‘art of placement’ that has been adapted for a modern world – and provide insight on how making small changes in your home can result in big changes to your health. (There is no need to pre-register for this, or other programs at the Wellness Expo, and attendance is free.)
“Everything in our environment – from inanimate objects like stones and furniture to living beings – has energy,” explains Perrin. “When you make an effort to balance the energy around you, the energy within you comes into balance and that creates better health. I am not saying that feng shui alone is a ‘cure all’ for what ails you, but it can help you feel better. If your home ‘feels good’ then you will, too”
