Thursday, May 5, 2011, Fine Art of Intention Feng Shui was presented with the Comox Valley Home-Based Business Association's 'Business of the Year' Award.
"The CVHBBA Business of the Year Award is designed to acknowledge an HBBA member who has demonstrated exemplary effort in their business or in their industry, leadership in this Association and involvement in our community," said the 2010 award recipient and award presenter, Carolyn West-Price Touhey, SmartBiz Strategy.
"In the two years since launching Fine Art of Intention Feng Shui Terri Perrin has delivered interactive and inspirational workshops to audiences from Campbell River to Victoria, BC and in Calgary, Alberta," added West-Price Touhey. "A freelance writer, as well as certified feng shui pracitioner, she was been well published in the local and national media and is effectively using Internet-based communications to market her products and services.

"This year, Terri took her writing to a different level," adds West-Price Touhey. "In January 2011, Terri published her first feng shui book, The Complete Guide to Feng Shui Crystals. She worked with a network of International resources to deliver an accurate and informative manuscript. She also chose to work with another CVHBBA member, photographer Lisa Graham, Seadance Photography and graphic designer Lenore Lowe, Imago Creative, to create a first-class ‘made in the Comox Valley’ product that is now selling in North America.
"Terri makes it all look so simple and easy, despite her very full plate, and she does it all with such grace," concluded West-Price Touhey. "Her creativity, professionalism, and sincere desire to make a difference are evident in all she does, and it was truly my pleasure to present Terri Perrin the 2011 CVHBBA Business of the Year award."
