So much social media … so little time!

I am pleased to have been invited to be the guest speaker at the Feng Shui Connections Canada meeting in Calgary on April 12, 2011. I will be giving a presentation on using social media to promote Feng Shui.  This will be followed by what I expect to be a lively and interactive discussion on social networking where attendees will be invited to share their Internet challenges and triumphs with the group.

My 45-minute presentation will walk through my experience in coming up with the concept for my book – The Complete Guide to Feng Shui Crystals – and how I used the Internet to  connect and interact with some of North America’s most well-respected Feng Shui experts during the research and writing process.

Writing the book, was the easy part! Since the first copies rolled off the presses in late December 2010, I have made an effort to use social media to promote it. I will share with you how to use various analytic services to help you monitor your website traffic, give examples of how working in collaboration with other practitioners in North America gives you credibility, and provide an explanation of how I gauge ‘return on investment’ for time spent on the Internet.

To finish off the night, I will also do a short reading from my book to provide insight into my fascination with multi-faceted leaded crystal spheres as BTB Feng Shui cures and enhancements.
